out drive is trimmed all the way up, went to trim it down and nothing. it is an electric lift and i hear a click sound when i try to trim it up but nothing when i try to trim down. took electric motor off and it spins when i trim up but again nothing when i trim down. Is there a cut off switch on these that may be stuck so it wont trim down???

Help please want to get on water today if i can!!

There is a set of relays/solenoids on the top of the lift motor.
Try taking the cover off and swapping the relays around.
You only have a tilt unit. Not a trim. Trying to use it as a trim can cause damage.

There a limit switch to stop the tilt when you lower it, but not when you raise it. The tilt requires the two relays to work together in a way I do not understand.

But to clarify, you are only getting a click? And when you removed the motor, it spins...It should spin when installed as well.
