t-stat problems

So I bought what I think is the right t-stat for my boat?

t-stat I got from here
18-3668

If it isn't can someone lead me to the right one?

Also how do you install it? once I took the housing off, I couldn't get it out, got mad and beat on it with a socket till she came out...

Now im not exactly how sure how to put it back in :joyous:

You have the correct thermostat:
The Sierra Thermostat Kit 18-3668 contains the 18-3551 thermostat (Mercury # 59137), applicable gasket covers, and o-ring for Mercruiser type cooling systems.

Some advice-- don't beat on things with a socket. I think that housing is close to $200.00.
