Hi, when I get out of the salt water I flush the engine by connecting the muffs and a hose and then starting the engine for a few minutes. However I got thinking that if the thermostat is closed (since engine does not reach temperature in short time) then how does the block then get flushed? Do I have to wait for the engine to reach temperature to open thermostat? Is there an easier way?
