I have 2 Volvo Penta D6 350 engines. What is the purpose for the propeller cone on the outdrive? I noticed today my starboard outdrive is missing the cone.
On the bigger motors, I think it's more cosmetic than functional. It might help a tiny bit with hydrodynamics, but I doubt it'd make any noticeable difference if it was on or off.
