I've been having idle issues where it runs great cold or great warm depending on where I set the idle screw. If I up the idle it'll run fine when hot, but idle at about 1700 when cold.

I was looking at it last night and I noticed that the choke seemed very very loose. I'm guessing that the choke thermostat is bad because I can easily just flick the choke open and closed with my finger (linkage looked attached correctly). If I held it partially closed while it was hot it ran great. Should the choke be that easy to move? I'm assuming there should at least be some resistance from the thermostat but right now it just flops around.

I had intended to take a video tonight but the rain won't stop. Any input is appreciated.

This is what it looks like:
