Ok, so Friday night we ran out of gas in our 1993 Glastron SSV 195 Elite about a hundred or so yards from the ramp we use. Got towed to the dock, trailered up, headed home. On way home, decided to stop and fill up the boat. Was able to get 24.33 gallons in before the debit card cut off at $90.00
So, yesterday, before heading to the lake, we decided to see how much more it would take to fill the tank up. It took an additional 14.98 gallons! That's almost 40 freakin' gallons total!
Does my boat really have a 40 gallon fuel tank, or is one of my neighbors siphoning my gas at night? What the crap?!
Thanks for any input!

You have a 20' boat and 40 gallons is certainly not a huge tank for that size boat. My boat is about 1 foot longer with a 90 (NINETY) gallon tank.

I Like the twin tanks over a huge single,...

My '88 SeaRay 19 footer had a 35 G tank. My '98 Seaswirl 21 footer has a 63 Gal tank. You look to have it right.

The newer 195's have a capacity of 32 gallons. My 20' bowrider has 36 gal, 40 gal, seems too high.

Nobody ever said power boating was cheap. My 20 foot cuddy with a 150 outboard has a 30 gallon tank and I wish I could fit in a 50 or 75.
