Place to search outboard model/serial for details?

Hi again,
Is there a place online to search out the serial/model number of my Force outboard for details... the Capri hull is stamped 84, but the motor number doesn't show up as 84 or 85...

What does the information on the data tag for the outboard say? Model number or anything? Or is the problem that there is no data tag?

A pic will help. Blue or white?
Then on the transom clamp on the port side.
The older ones had a metal tag on the inside of the cowl on the stbd.side,front.
If no luck there, ynder the electrical cluster is a factory foundry stamp.
Also under the rear cowl is another foundry mark.
Then look at the starter, if it's original??? it might have the date?

Thanks, JKEP44... my motor is 1987 according the Mastertech's chart... I got it used on an 84-5 Capri hull. the motor was overheated before I got it... I have replaced head gasket(s), exhaust gaskets, fuel lines, carb gaskets, ignition switch, added a tell-tale (and of course, impeller), new starter this year, and gutted and rebuilt the hull, including re-upholstery and carpet... needs wind shields, but I cannot afford them.

Latest project was to mount centering guides on the Calkins trailer. Right now I am waiting on delivery of a starter solenoid... and thinking about a 2 meter FM ham radio for it.

I have a complete windshield for a 16' Capri. Hudson Valley NY. Can not ship.
