Can I rebuild 5.0 Fuel Pump?

I have a 1988 Candia 180 w/the 5.0 L 305 and I am having trouble with the boat bogging down on wot. Things I have checked so far:
- Anti-siphon valve - unclogged and clean
- Fuel Filters - both the water separator and the in-line to the carb - Both clean no debris no water in fuel
- accelerator pump is working - extra 2 jets fire in the carb
- Spark plugs and wires - spark plugs replaced wires in good condition
- Points and distributor - points aligned properly - cap in good condition
- cylinder compression - all are good
- flame arrestor unclogged and in good condition
- propeller is properly pitched and drive shaft in good shape

Which leads me to the fuel pump - I ordered what I though I had verified as the proper replacement - Sierra International 18-7268. When I got the pump it turns out that it does not have the same fittings for the fuel in and outs and overflow.

I was unable to find anything that I could confirm as a rebuild kit for the existing fuel pump. So my main questions are:
- Does such a rebuild kit exist for the pump?
- If not is there a replacement pump that has the same ports as the original
- If no exact replacement pump exists does that mean that I have to re-plumb that fuel lines and connections?

Any help is appreciated - Thanks -

Re: Can I rebuild 5.0 Fuel Pump?

When I replaced my mechanical fuel pump on a 5.0 302, I had to take the new one apart and move the top from the bottom around one hole to get my fuel lines to line up properly. Mine was a carter marine from Summit.
