There is not a tilt release handle on my Merc 25 HP XD to disengage the tilt bar. There is a tilt release handle once the engine in in a tilt position to release back to the upright position. There is however a release arm connected to the tilt bar that enters the engine compartment. It seems there is some electrical component to release the tilt bar however no control on the engine or on the Quicksliver engine controls. Stumped and need help.
