Boat Painting Question

O.K. I sanded the boat with 400 grit wetsand paper, cleaned it, and repainted with 2 coats or paint. I am going to apply at least 3 more coats. Once that is done I will sanding it again using 1500 grit sand paper. What polish do you all recommend for polishing the paint after using the 1500 grit? Thanks for the help.<br /><br />James

Definitly something without wax in it, wax will seal the paint and not allow it to dry. <br /><br />I want to say people have used 3m Perfect-it rubbing compound on new finishes, it doesn't contain wax as I recall.

I will research what is out there so that I can find something without wax. I think two more applications or paint and I will be ready to sand and polish.
