Hey guys, I'm looking a purchasing a 2005 sea doo 200 that was involved in an accident while trailered.. Bent trailer pretty bad left a 3 ft gouge in the hull .. Pretty fair price on it I think I may can do the repair myself.. It's been a while (20yrs) but I've worked Fiberglas before.. Not an amateur but by no means a professional.. What am I in for? Thoughts?.. Thanks

Re: Hull damage on sea doo jet boat

Hi and welcome, Weylin...
Could be easily repaired or it could be a huge undertaking...depends on the actual construction of the hull, meaning whether the hull is a "Boston Whaler" type construction or a standard cap, stringers type construction that can be much more easily separated...and how bad the damage is.
Best advice is to get a bunch of pictures, close near, far, etc...and post them up...the guys here will get you pointed in the right direction.
You can use a free photobucket , or similar account, to post pics after uploading.
Best of luck
