Nope, 1976 only has one. It is in the box below the bubble back exhaust cover, two big hoses going to it. Do whatever you want, it is ok with me, but that really isn't a maintenance item. It is extremely rare that they fail in the closed position, and if it fails in the open position, it will just run too cool...no biggie deal till you get it fixed. When is the last time you changed the thermostat in your car?
