5.8 omc cobra inboard engine, Block replacement

Hello, does anybody know if the block on a 5.8 OMC cobra 1989, is the same as a 5.8 EFI OMC Cobra.
I intend to use the original heads, etc, but need a short block?

Ayuh,... Just do a search for a 351 Ford, Windsor short block,...
