mercruiser 4.3 carb issue

i have a reman 4.3 vortec with a 2 bbl carb and about 50 hours on it. ran great until last weekend it wouldnt accelerate at all. so i messed with it for awhile and choked it 2/3 the way and it ran like a top. so i rebuilt the carb and still no difference. im stumped. idles with no choke great but wont accelerate. im stumped. any help would be great. thanks, steve

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,... I'm guessin' ya got foreign debris in yer Fuel,... Check, 'n change the Filters,...

If ya Don't have a spin-on canister type, Buy 1, 'n add it 'tween the tank, 'n fuel pump,...

If ya find Nothin' but clean fuel, check out the fuel Pump,...
It should flow well, 'n do 4 to 6 psi pressure,...
