My boat has a Y fitting that connects the inlet side of the RW pump to the drive and to the thru hull pickup. To be proactive to head off the typical transom ***. corrosion associated with the B3 water line, would it be smart to block off this 3/4" line now before the transom ***. corrodes? Does the B3 need this line for cooling? I know the motor does'nt need it. Thanks for any input.
