1986 Force 85hp - losing prime

When the boat sits, I lose the prime and need to pull a plug (or two) and prime with gasoline. It then starts right up and is fine for the remainder of the day. Any idea as to why it would lose the prime? Replaced the gas lines and fuel filter.

Do you have a primer bulb installed between the motor and gas tank? If you do, then I would take a look at the fuel pump diaphragm if you haven't already done so.
