89 evinrude 110 hp trim problem

Just wondering if elctric trim motor is weak causing my trim to not raise under a load? Otherwise when not moving on water i can raise the trim up and down. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Good question Fed, is it just power tilt or tilt and trim ?? Could you post a pic of it ??

sounds like it could be either weak trim motor, weak battery, or corroded electrical connection.
