What brand of drive? Mercruiser,OMC,other?Is 225 a model or horse power?
Electric d shift I would guess a OMC.
If it has a prop the numbers may appear near the base of the blades or on the hub.

1972 slickcraft 225 hp omc sterndrive .
yes it has numbers but isn't the hub different for omc , I know the diameter and pitch numbers but would like to try different size props
to evaluate performance, I know OMC is different due to age and mounting
