I finally got the Evinrude Fastwin 18hp running like a charm. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone--couldn't have done much without y'all. I hope you guys get some karma or a free beer or something, you guys deserve it. I hope someone learns from the threads i've posted trying to figure out what was wrong with my motor. I know i asked a bunch of stupid questions, but you guys were patient and helpful. I'll be sticking around here.
