85 to 115 powerhead swap

wanna check with someone who would know before ripping all these apart..........i have a good running 1977-79 115 here with a broken transom mount. and another early 80's 85 hp tired low on compression.....will the 115 power head fit onto the 85 mid section with no problems???

There were no 85 hp in the 80s. The years there was a 4 cylinder 85 was 1973 -1977 inclusive. Without knowing the exact years of both engines it makes it difficult to say.
