I have a 1996 Johnson 115 Oceanrunner with the Fast Trac Tilt and Trim System. T/T system was working great earlier in the week, but when I went out there earlier today, the T/T motor would just spin both directions, without lifting the motor. The manual release valve is tight, and I?ve already checked that the fluid is clean and full. If I manually lift the motor, tight the valve and then lower it using the t/t it seems to move it, but not smoothly, and more like tends to drop it short distances. It will not lift the motor at all on its own ( with the manual valve tight), but the t/t motor runs well. Is this an issue with the seals inside of it, or will the whole assembly need to be replaced?
