Ok thanks for all your help I have removed the out drive and checked the gears found a few chips on the upper lower drive gear and cleaned them up , finally got the gimball bearing out and seal behind it . I need to the know the proper alignment of the new giball bearing and palecment of the seal/ tension spring front or back . any pics would be greatly appreciated. I have inspected the drive bellows and look good however the are a few dings in the outer lip where the outdrive joins if so any concerns can not see where water intrusion would happen . THANKS 100_1864.jpg100_1865.jpg100_1866.jpg100_1867.jpg100_1868.jpg

What do you mean by a few chips and you cleaned them up? The gears are chipped? Please tell me you aren't planning on using them.
