1962 chris craft

Anyone on here ever heard about a 1962 Chris Craft Switzer just found one on craigslist all the guy new was that it was a Switzer and as of right now there are no pics. Any ideas thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, I'm wondering is it a Chris Craft or a Switzer. Two different companies.

that is a possibility, the ad also stated that it had the original 110 hp motor with it did they have that much horsepower in 1962, i have i 1963 75 hp and i always thought that, that was basically as high as they went for that time period. So I'm not sure.

Depending upon the model, they had V-8s in '62, so that was probably a little L6, which are both inboards. OMC outboards topped out at 75 hp in '62, but Mercs hit 100.

The guy emailed me back last night and sent pics the boat is a Switzer craft like you suggested Ned, and the motor is definetly not a 1962 merc so leds me to bielieve either the motor was swapped or the boat isnt even a 1962.20130708_183900.jpgb1.jpgb2.jpgb4.jpg
