My spare prop is a Michigan style(separate lock nut/big back spacer bushing).It appears to be the same pitch as the original Mercruiser. The spare has a cupped edge. What would be the performance difference? Michigan still considered a good prop? If I go to a four blade do I drop the pitch size?

A cupped prop will usually out perform a regular prop.
Usually drop one inch pitch going to a 4 blade but would depend on your present performance.
