Re: 1986 searay seville fuel gauge not working
OK : I found the problem. I removed the floor panel after trouble shooting with a meter. The positive wire terminal had been pushed down and shorted out and coroded there (green). I put a new connector on the wire cleaned up the terminal and glued two pieces of 3/4 inch plywood to the tank on either side of fuel gauge to keep the floor panel from crushing the connector. everything is in order and working. Thanks for any help.
