My E25ELCEB will not start after sitting overnight. At first I squirted a small amount of 50-1 fuel mixture in throat of carb and would fire right up. I've now found that all I have to do is cover the throat of the carb with my fingers and it fires right up. The butterfly is in the closed position as it should be with choke lever engaged. After initial start it fires with ease the rest of the day. It doesn't have a breather on the carb but very few do. Any ideas?

sound like fuel is draining out of bowl from a carb leak or possibly from a bad fuel pump check valve, hand over choke plate seals it up to pull more fuel
