Beginning to start a hometown project. 1967 Larson All American 186 I/O with a Merc 110.

I'm Chris Harakel from Little Falls, MN the birthplace of Larson Boats. I also work at Larson Boats so I also have a boat background. However this is very new to me and could use all the help I can get. The boat has been sitting for 3 years and the floor is rotten, I did crank the motor a little and it is free. As you can see in the pics the boat is very solid with the exception of the floor. My main concern right now is how do you raise the lower unit. It is down, and I can pull a lever in the back and lift it manually but as soon as I press the trim down the lower unit falls down.

Thanks for any advice!!
