Ok I have a 100 horse 67 evinrude starflite-s that needs a pulse pack and god knows what else, and don't really have the time or money to buy the parts and fix it, but I have a line on a free boat with a 90 hp merc I believe.
My question is whether or not I can just switch motors or is the linkage and everything brand specific? What do I need to change when doing this?
My boat now has electric shift I believe not sure what other info you may need to give me an answer so let me know. Thanks
