Fuel tank - plymastic?

My fuel tank has a leak! Will this stuff help keep the aluminum duct tape over the leak?


Seariously, I got a quote for a new aluminum fuel tank and Plymastic is an option. Based on the little bit of information I have found on the Internet, it is an epoxy coating for the outside of the tank. Has anyone had this on a tank? Is it worth the $85 charge?
