Started up all day long on Thursday, now won't fire. Electronic ignition, put on new coil, checked plug wires, plugs, distributor cap and rotor.....still no fire. Any suggestions?
Kill switch have the lanyard installed? Do you have power to the + terminal of the coil with the key in the run position? Could be a coil, have you checked the coil with an ohm meter? It may also be the electronic conversion. No way of testing those things.
Well, you better go do it. You won't know what to fix until you do.
Meter on VDC, black lead on good clean unpainted ground, red lead on the + terminal of the coil. Crank the engine over and see what the voltage is while cranking.
