I'm putting this power head back together again and want to install the lower bearing vent mod. Does it really affect how well it idles? Also the #321598 fitting is not easily obtainable. Can I use the #321886 elbow and get the same results? Its just vented to the atmosphere? If you think the 598 fitting is required can I drill the 1/8" hole and just leave it open for a week or so until the fitting arrives? Will it leach oil? I want to be running this weekend.
