24 foot Grumman rides low in back has 2-12 gallon fuel tanks and 2 batteries one of each on each side. Transom tub also fills full of water, I have jacked the front of boat up and all that came out of tubes was a big woosh of air. Is this normal ? I had 4 adults and two kids on last time out and rode really low. Thanks

Re: Waterline pics

Yes it sounds right and pontoons often sit low in the back due to most of the weight being back there.

Re: Waterline pics

Any pontoon that does not sit lower in the back will not handle well since the fronts will just plow through the water and the motor will have to work harder. It is possible to sit to low in the rear, but that is unusual and usually related to water in the toons or excessive weight in the back usually an oversized motor.

Some pics of the waterline may help use to determine if you have a problem.
