Hiho,
I had purchased a boat + motor one month ago. The preowner told me that the motor was stored for two years.
After a test run I noticed that the motor dies after a min.
I did the following things:
- replaced a coil
- did the timing thing
- rebuilt the fuel pump
- changed the fuel hose
- cleaned the carb with cold cleaner and remounted it with a carb kit
Now the motor runs only with opened choke valve, rough and rich. The motor dies when i close the choke valve.
Any suggestions ?
btw : hoses #4 and #27(crankcase) do they need to have a certain diameter ?
