1998 Volvo Penta
8.2L 415-DPX XBYDCE
Fresh rebuild, MAP sensor had two broken wires fixed the breaks and replaced the sensor. Was still running like hell, IAC ohm'd out, but the way it was running made it seem like it was stuck so I removed it and it ran like a champ (in a test bucket as there is no muffs I found for this damn outdrive). Anywho...so I replaced the IAC and it seemed like it was good to go, but on the first lake test it wouldn't really go above 2500 rpm under load....just dogged out. In neutral still ok. Checked for error codes and nothing was thrown. Compression is 140 across the board and timing is set at 10 deg BTDC in service mode. I'm getting new cap and rotor but I was wondering if there is anything else I should consider?
