1. We have a relatively shallow channel before I hit deep water, and I don't want to ruin my outdrive trying to get out. Does anyone have any practical experience with the "real life" depth requirements for this vessel, cruising slowly with the outdrive up raised as much as possible?
2. At the front of the cubby there is a carpeted storage area, with a carpeted panel/lid. When I opened it there was about 8" of water sitting in it, and as far as I can tell no way to drain. I have no idea how it got there and if this is likely to be a problem?
