What is your thought on inner tubes for 5.30x12 trailer tire?

Found some online for cheap and I figured I'd see what you guys thought of using inner tubes instead of replacing the tire.

Clean tire innards and a tube "could" add some usage.

im against inner tubes in general because most tires can be plugged from the inside and any tire that need more than a plug to fix it is past its best. that's just my personal opinion

Yea Im gonna just replace the tires, 2 of them are dry rotting.Thanks guys

New 12" tires with new wheels are very inexpensive.

If inner tubes were so good, we'd still be seeing them being used.

I do wish I had about 4 16" inner tubes to float in the river with, however.

The problem with having a tube vs a tubeless tire is that when a tube gets punctured it goes flat and requires tire removal to repair no matter what.
Without the tube, the puncture don't always cause a flat, such as a nail in a hole, and a simple plug fixes the problem fast.
I carry a plug kit at all times in all my vehicles, its more than once gotten me home without changing a tire.

With a tube, its flat and you need a tire machine or a lot of sweat to fix it.

I usually limit tubes to farm use and non important things like handtrucks, wagons, and farm vehicles that don't leave the yard.

While I very much agree with "New 12" tires with new wheels are very inexpensive. ". I can't agree with the why we aren't using them. Mfg. costs and labor costs are far more likely reasons.

The only place I run tubes is the wheel barrow, 2 wheel dolly and the garden tractor. I just plain got tired of having to pump them up every time I wanted to use them.
