25HP Johnson Maintenance?

I just acquired a 200525hp Johnson model number J25TES short shaft outboard with electric start 2 stroke. Need to know the type of grease to use in fittings and the type of gearcase oil to get. Would appreciate a link to any general maintenance information.

Any decent lower unit oil will work. Go to Wallymartworld and look for lower unit oil and it will work fine.

Walmart also has your marine grease and grease gun if needed. I use any standard non marine grease but re-grease regularly.

I would also change out the spark plugs and do a water pump repair kit.

Are there any online instructions for replacing the water pump kit?
