I'm looking at buying a used boat they (MarineMax) have advertised. Its 600 miles away so I havent actually seen it, but I have seen multiple pictures. I have talked to the salesman, and the original owner, and I'm relatively sure its worth the price. I am a considering making an offer, pending a visual inspection, mechanical inspection and lake test. I've talked to people from Marine Max before and they seem to be a pretty good company. Anyone have bad experiences buying from them?

They are in many locations. Never heard of a problem from the 2 near me. 600 miles is a long way for a boat as iof you have a problem another 1200 mile trip... maybe more than one.

I dealt with Marine Max in MN in the past about a boat I was looking at and they were very nice. They did everything I asked and were polite. I did not end up buying the boat because it would not fit in the garage otherwise I would have.
