anti-glare windshield

I have a 23'cuddy that has a black vinyl material that is glued to the top part of my dash to keep the glare down on the windshield. It is cracking and coming up, is there anything else I could put down to replace it, does anyone know where I can find some? Do they make anything you can paint on? Any advice would be welcome.

Seems like anything would work, paint, replace the vinyl, perhaps some of that anti-skid tape

You might try a piece of marine carpet. Could glue it dowm or use snaps. Also if you fish, throw a hook or lure up there on it and I guarantee it wont slide off onto the floor or in your lap. hehe
