I accidentally broke my old ignition and I need to replace it but I am unsure what kind I need.

Bought the boat last year and I am not exactly sure where every single wire goes, there is a ton of wires under the dashboard.

All I know about this ignoition is that it is wired to 12V (of course), wired to the gauges, and maybe wired back to the motor somewhere? There are 6 wires going to the ingition.

Boat: 1991 396FXD (Manufactured by Stratos)
Motor: 1990 Evinrude E200STLESE

Can someone please advise me - what type of ignition I will likely need to use to replace the old one and keep the associated wiring functional?

Re: Replacement Ignition Switch

You need an outboard ignition switch with a push to choke feature. Terminals are:
B - battery (+12 volts)
A - accessory (feeds power to gauges)
M - two of them (grounds ignition to kill engine)
S - energizes starter solenoid
C - choke/primer (push key in to choke)
