Hello,

I have a 1986 Searay Seville II with a mercruiser 3.7 liter 470 170hp 4 cylinder. Whats is the normal operating temp for this motor and what is the normal idel rpm and normal idel at full speed.

Operating temp 165-190 degrees F (cooler end of range is better). Idle about 700 RPM.

I think i got my over heating problem fixed from last year. Ive replaced heat exchanger,water pump, thermostat, heat exchanger voltage regulator,impeller, water pocket, all bellows, exhaust boots, and all hoses. Today i ran the boat for 20 mins. And this is what temp guage read.IMG_0378.jpg
