I have a 1999 90 HP Johnson on a 172 Sea Hunt. I bought the boat 3yrs ago. Business as usual on the way to our favorite swimming hole last Saturday. Anchored up for about 4hrs, on the run back to the ramp I noticed the trim would not work while in forward gear. It works fine in neutral and reverse but NOTHING in forward gear. Got her home checked it on the trailer (motor off) same problem. So I looked for any visible loose connections in the console on the controls, checked grounds and I still couldn't figure it out. Anyone ever seen this before? Any suggestions?
