BOLT found in bilge - need help identifying please

I have a 2008 Larson 180 with a 3.0L Volvo Penta (GL?) motor. SX outdrive. There are 53 hours on the boat. I found this bolt lying in my bilge a few days ago. I only had time for a quick visual inspection, but I can't see any obvious places where a bolt is missing. The boat runs fine (as far as I can tell).

The bolt is 2.5" long.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP guide me where to check?

Thanks!

Looks like the 3812255 Flange Screw from the circulating pump pulley.

Agree it looks a LOT like those screws, however, all 4 of them are present in the motor... are these used anywhere else in the motor?

i think you will find these bolts in many places around the pulleys of the alternator, circulating pump and the according mounting brackets - i would look here carefully . i do not think such bolts are used in the alterntor or flywheelcover area .

it might also be the previous owner changed a part and used new bolts and now you found an old one in the bilge.

not an easy question where exactly this bolt is from .

Thanks everyone... the main thing I'm worried about is that the bolt fell out of the motor block somewhere and it is a key piece of holding everything together. Wouldnt' want a catastrophic failure out on the water. I'll re-check the pulleys etc. and try to snap a photo or two to post.

I think I found it. Seems to be part of the pully bracket assembly.. found another piece laying on the ground as well. See photo. Agreed? Thank you all again.

Is that the spacer (in your hand lower left of photo) that goes in that gap?
