Best Ethenol additive?

What is the best Ethenol additive for my engine? I have a 1985 Force 85HP O/B. I'm not having any problems right now, but don't want any. I'll be heading up the lake later today & want to get the best additive for my engine. Is there a real difference between the different brands of additives? If there all basically all the same I don't want to pay extra for just a name brand. Thank You for any advice. MAXX

If I was gonna use any it would be the blue stuff that they sell at WM .I believe te brand is Sta-Bil.
The best thing you can add is a water/fuel seperating filter.
Then keep the tank full when not running.
Check the filter every month.
Most water/seps. Aren't the best.They loose their paint and the filters rust quick.
So after you install paint it.
Also mount it so it's not gonna get direct contact with the water.I/E the splashwell.
