Hey all-

I was changing my spark plugs, which I did last August, and noticed oil running down from my # 2 plug and around the plug. Im running Amsoil synt TWC3 grade @ 50:1. I also noticed pitting on my lower plug from minor salt water use. (I clean the engine post salt water use with a hose and the ears as well as wash/wax the boat). Any ideas on the issues? Shes running fine @ WOT, idle, 1/2 and 3/4 with no burps (unless water is cold). I run the boat every other weekend all through the year in the Potomac river by DC.

Sounds like either a loose spark plug or a bad gasket. as far as the pitting spray the entire engine with WD40 after use

Im hoping it was just slightly loose. I set the gap to .39 as called for and Im taking her out Monday for a 8 hour run- WOT and trolling. Keep yall posted. Thanks Laddies.
