Shift Interrupt Switch - Wiring

I asked this in my other thread, but I guess it's too crowded with ignition talk to get an answer on the switch wiring.

I just need to know if the Interrupt Switch is normally open or closed with the roller in the valley?

Mine is closed, meaning there is continuity between the two posts when the roller is in the valley.

I believe it's supposed to be open when roller is in the valley.

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Yes, it's supposed to be normally open.
