I have a 1996 Marada 21' open bow I/O with 5.0 V8, think around 220 hp - not fuel injected. Think I have a 19 pitch prop. I wasn't fully floored but plenty of power going and my speedo said right around 25 mph and 3400 rpm's. I do like the wake the boat is giving me for wakeboarding and I don't have any issues with get up and go for that which is my main reason for wanting the boat. I have had the boat only to just short of 35 mph and am not sure how much more it has (but I haven't had a good straight away with calm water to test it lately). Just want to know if this seems like a reasonable range for the boat to operate in.

You need to post your wide open throttle rpm and top speed by GPS. My signature boat goes about 30 mph at 3200 rpm. Depending on your trim position and load you numbers may or may not be in line. You want your top end rpm to be between 4600 -4800 then you know your about right.
