I removed my lower leg and found the shaft bushing disintegrated. It came out in pieces and made the leg removal difficult.
Is there any trick to replacing it? The slot where the clip goes seems in tact although there is some corrosion in the area.
The engine was tough turning over and on occasion would sound the heat alarm. Could this bushing be the cause of this?
Should I be looking for other things? There is not 20hrs on the water pump. debating whether to change it or not.
And advice would be appreciated.
