My skeg has a gradual bend when looked straight on from the back of the drive. It is sort of a rounded bend mostly on the last 3-4 inches. If it were steel I would rig up a bar or something to bend it back. I want to know if the aluminum will bend with pressure or is it brittle enough to snap?

help appreciated.

If its not causing any handling issues I would leave it alone.

do to a serious case of being unable to leave well enough alone, I will try a measured dose of 2 rubber mallets.

When you snap it off we will be happy to direct you to a prop shop for repair.

2 mallets worked well. skeg came around to 98% straight with no problems
