My engine box on my 1974 Cobalt has one side rotted out. The vinel on the outside is in excelent shape and I wanted to perform a quick fix without having to tear off the vinel and worry about getting it all reatached correctly, this would require purchace of brad nailer etc. Has anyone used fiber sheets and resin to repair this kind of issue. Would it work? Down the road I can always do the proper repair with marine wood, but wanted to see if this would work.
